DESIGN: TKO STRUCTURE

The final design for this pavilion was arrived at after careful thought and a few revisions. We tried various styles and configurations that we felt were appropriate for the needs of the client as well as in keeping with the surroundings, ultimately going with something traditional in design yet also contemporary in it's usage of Accoya wood for the majority of exposed areas. The Accoya, a non-toxic acetylized wood made from Radiata pine, starts off as a natural tone that will eventually turn silvery grey. It is also very durable, both weather and insect resistant, thereby offering many years of worry free and just as importantly, maintenance free years of use.
